All the reaction from the fans, media and the Warriors themselves after their worst showing of 2018 in a 32-0 loss to the Roosters.

What the Warriors said

Probably the grimmest Warriors press conference so far in 2018, but Stephen Kearney wasn’t too despondent.

The coach lamented losing the physical battle and producing uncharacteristic errors coming out of their own end.

"They beat us to the punch tonight and we just couldn't recover from it" Kearney

Adam Blair was confident the Warriors will again bounce back from a disappointing loss with a vastly improved performance against Parramatta on Friday.

“That’s the best thing about this group, we have a good, hard look at ourselves individually and as a group,” Blair said.

“We go back to the drawing board and work on the things we need to be better at. We’ll do exactly the same again with confidence that we can be better for the run.”

What the fans said

A worrying trend is developing in 2018: when the Warriors lose, they lose bad. That was at the heart of fans’ frustration post-game.

Well that was horrendous last night #NRLWarriorsRoosters ! Still, I went to pak n save after in my @NZWarriors hoodie & appreciated the sympathetic expressions from fellow shoppers. Next week fellas:)

#NRLWarriorsRoosters Are the Warriors intimidated by the big city clubs?! Will have now lost against Storm, Broncos and Roosters!

This should put to bed that horseshit some have trotted out that the Warriors are better without Shaun Johnson #NRLWarriorsRoosters

The celebration of Maori culture in the NRL Indigenous Round for the first time rightly got a big thumbs up from supporters.

Very cool of @nrl not to have forgotten to include indigenous New Zealand culture this week. Enjoyed that before the game

What the NZ media said

A pretty depressing evening in the trenches for the hardworking Kiwi league scribes.

Here’s how NZ Herald’s David Skipwith, Michael Burgess and Dale Budge saw it.

Disappointed Warriors fans heading for the exits at Mt Smart with 15 minutes remaining and nothing looking likely at 24-0 #NRL #NRLWarriorsRoosters

Worse @NZWarriors effort of the season, in the circumstances. Yes, even worse than meltdown in Melbourne. @sydneyroosters forwards completely dominated the ruck, and errors across the park from Warriors. Personnel changes next week? Some players look tired. @nzheraldsport

David Long and Marvin France weren’t having much more fun wrapping up the Warriors no-show for Stuff.

Ditto Jackson Thomas for NRL.com.

Mount Smart may have been a bust, but it was another exciting day around Auckland’s suburban grounds for the Fox Memorial.

Corey Rosser is doing the livestream commentary for the match of the round each Saturday and we’re loving his calls! Check them out at aucklandleague.co.nz.

What the Aussie media said

Not a lot of noise from across the Tasman, preferring to leave the Warriors’ weak performance in the rearview mirror where it belongs.

The previously in-form Warriors certainly contributed to rough tipping weekend for many pundits though.

Can confirm I finished with… one…
