Will be interesting to see the team Webby picks this week, there’s some players who sat out this game who you would say are in the best 17 at the club, but the group that played took the intensity up a notch, and that got the 2pts.
Some hard truths for Webby to dwell on after that epic performance. Like the idea of RTS at centre but he needs to find a pass and not run his winger out of space. Would have liked us to try some long range attacks with 20 or so to go. We are going to need a point of difference for our attack to keep sides guessing and AKP provides that.
I totally agree. After the 2024 season I never wanted to see RTS in the centres again, but despite his flaws as a centre, he offered so much more last night than he did on the wing. Especially on defence.
