A familiar rundown in the Warriors player ratings stakes after a 42-16 drubbing from the Sharks.

1 ROGER TUIVASA-SHECK (c): Such a class act. Ran for a game-high 211 metres and made a team-high 11 tackle-breaks, came up with the most brilliant play of the game to set up Fusitu’a’s try and never stopped having a go. A marvel in a team of plodders. 8

2 DAVID FUSITU’A: Set up the Warriors’ first try with a trademark leap and scored their last with signature diving finish. Also made some great takes at the back and ran for 90 metres. Eye-catching return. 7

3 PETA HIKU: Generally very good over the past couple of months but not an outing to remember. Ran for just 60 metres and had five missed tackles. 5

4 PATRICK HERBERT: Impressive early try and a sideline conversion in the second half, but otherwise barely featured. Missed five tackles and was thoroughly outpointed by fellow rookie Bronson Xerri. 5

5 KEN MAUMALO: Barely made it to triple-figures in the run-metres stakes, which is highly unusually for Big Ken. Forgettable outing. 4

6 CHANEL HARRIS-TAVITA: Not sure if he has been reading TWL‘s positive press, but CHT was awful this afternoon. Two errors, lacked imagination and intent, and was found out in defence. A big diversion from some of his outstanding recent efforts. 4

7 BLAKE GREEN: Put in the kick for the Warriors’ first try, but otherwise his kicking game was horrendous. Option-taking from a passing perspective wasn’t much better but was highly involved and at least always trying to get the Warriors going. 5

All I know is that if Johnson played as shit as Blake green the commentators would make us aware. He’s useless #NRLSharksWarriors

14 LACHLAN BURR: Pitched into a starting prop role and led the Warriors’ forwards with 130 metres, as well racking up 35 tackles. Popped a team-high four offloads, including one that led to Fusitu’a’s try. 6

9 ISSAC LUKE: Looked dangerous running out of dummy-half early but faded out of the game. Barely registered in the memory bank during his second stint. 5

10 LEESON AH MAU: Solid enough again with 118 metres and 24 tackles, but obviously doesn’t bring the variety the Sharks’ bookends do. 5.5

11 ADAM BLAIR: Only made four runs but reeled off 33 tackles without a miss. Looked to be throwing himself into everything and certainly not the worst we’ve seen in 2019. 5.5

12 ISAIAH PAPALI’I: Made 37 tackles, but his most effective was one that didn’t get counted on his tally – grassing teammate Blake Green to stop him from potentially denying Dugan a try. That calamity summed up his ordinary defensive effort, and grabbing a try couldn’t divert attention from a nondescript attacking display. Hard to believe he is offering more at present than Leivaha Pulu could. 3.5

If Isaiah Papali’i plays first grade again in 2019 the Warriors may as well fold #NRLSharksWarriors

13 JAZZ TEVAGA: Back in his preferred spot but came up with a mixed bag. Topped the tackle count with 49, ran for 125 metres and popped some offloads, but overall a scrappy effort marred by a couple of defensive misreads. 6

8 AGNATIUS PAASI: Bumped to the bench and contributed 76 metres and 25 tackles during 38 minutes on the park. OK, but not great. 5

15 SAM LISONE: Made nine carries for 92 metres but missed three tackles, while his actions in kicking a loose ball 20 metres backwards rather than diving on it showed a lack of desperation. 4.5

17 KODI NIKORIMA: Given a very generous stint at dummy-half but didn’t do a great deal with it. Gradually emerging as a disappointing mid-season purchase. 4

#NRL Despite his move to hooker in the short-term for the @NZWarriors, Kodi Nikorima is adamant that his long-term future is in the halves. https://t.co/JiXH5q7rYF

22 BLAKE AYSHFORD: Inexplicably brought onto the bench for Bunty Afoa and was given just nine minutes. Pointless. 4
