Perfect time to blood Hanson. That Knights backline still looks solid without Ponga and Brown, definitely boosted by the return of Sharp too! A little concerning if Pompey ends up out. Will / Brad do you think they would shift Leka to centres and bring Gannon, EIT or Nuikore into the 2nd row or go with RTS to centres and AKP to the wing?
I totally agree, definitely the best time to give him a shot. I remember seeing him in NSW Cup in 2024 when he must have only been 19 or 20. He didn't shine, but did all of the "one percenters" which I reckon was probably the brief he was given at the time - just do the basics. Fast forward to 2025 and to my uneducated eye he was making a real impact. Typically the Aussie media are transfixed on Jett Cleary, but where I don't think he is ready for 1st grade just yet (a season behind a lesser forward pack than in 2025 will help him develop his game), I reckon Hanson is.

I think they might go Leka to centre if Capewell wasn’t out…I reckon the latter option under these circumstances
